Choices overviewSelf-pay or co-payment healthcare alternativeSome medical procedures can cost tens of thousands of pounds - if you're planning co-payment or to self-pay some of your private healthcare, it's important to make sure you don't leave yourself exposed to unlimited medical bills. High excess healthcare insurance means that by funding treatment costs up to an agreed level yourself, with fully comprehensive insurance for treatment that exceeds that agreed financial limit, your premiums are kept down. So if you want to reduce your premiums by contributing more towards your claims then Choices high excess healthcare is the ideal plan. |
The healthcare benefits Choices offers you:
Choices offers three high excess levels in return for reduced premiums. Once the price of eligible private treatment reaches the excess level, Choices provides comprehensive cover for in-patient, day-patient and out-patient treatment that takes place in the UK.
When you take out a Choices healthcare plan, you choose your excess level - £1,000, £2,500 or £5,000. If you need treatment that costs more than your chosen limit, then you pay the agreed excess amount direct and the plan then takes over. Any amount over your excess for that claim is fully covered for eligible treatments, with no overall financial limits in any policy year.
