Skills training and development
We want to grow Standard Life Healthcare by helping our employees develop the technical and social skills needed to help us meet our ambitious goals. We have a policy of developing and promoting you as far as your attitude and ability will take you. Our support extends to offering you a range of services through our Open Access Development Centres (OADCs). You can choose from:
- Books and videos, which you can borrow to help you develop new skills
- Multimedia training course
- Access to the World Wide Web
- Use of our modern language lab - even if learning a foreign language isn't needed for your job
- PCs and study areas you can reserve for your own use
- One to one meetings with OADC facilitators to discuss your continued learning
This is all on top of our commitment to on the job training and company-funded study for professional qualifications.
